Maldives !!!

Yes, it was our honeymoontrip to the Maldives and I swear it was a dream come true. We had been planning this destination right after our engagement and it happened only after 3 months of our marriage. But I have no regrets, because we were still newly wed and had all the josh to explore one of the most beautiful places.

We were all excited on the 3rd of March to board the flight to our fav.We were all set with the apparels, accessories etc and my husband like ever packed the stuffs and kept it ready. Luckily we could board the Volvo bus right from our door step and had a good drive all till the airport enjoying the morning weather, almost empty roads in Bangalore and ofcourse the company of each other. We reached the airport, checked in and were waiting to board the flight. With us were around 4-5 newly wed couples, may be around a week old and the ladies had all the mehendi, chuda on the their hands and I was getting a little lost among them. Still am married what if it is 3 months late ? A honeymoon always special and we were enjoying those moments we had for each other. We finally boarded the flight and were waiting to land !
Just in an hr and half we were approaching our destination and we were all excited to see the blue islands of different shades. We finally reached and were taken to our resort "The Paradise Island" in a speed boat along with one of the other couples who were with us from Bangalore. We were given a warm welcome by the resort executives who showed us the way to our room. We were thrilled to see the beach side room, had a nice shower, nice afternoon nap and in the evening we were all set to explore the Dives :) We were really lucky as we were there in the right season and could enjoy it to the fullest. That evening we went for some sight seeing in an around the resort, enjoyed the food, weather, the pool and also some hot firangies :)

Then we came for the dinner and were shocked to see the kinds of food available in the counter. Atleast for non vegetarians it was a big dhamaka as they could try a variety of food. Not only the meals but there were variety of fruits looking at which our stomach used to get full ((probably that is what they wanted :) )

The next day morning we got up early which we never used to in Bangalore, had a good breakfast, and started our activities. First was the parasailing and man it was such an amazing experience, we were all above the world and romancing in the air, and that nobody could hear what we speak, we had more fun :) The next was the donut drive and it just got over in 10 mins. But I swear it was such a breathtaking experience that we ever had there. Next was the water scooter which was pretty fun and I also drove it.It was also first time I experienced power all alone. After all the sports activities we went and relaxed for a while in the room and again in the evening had a great party where there were couple of DJs rocking for us :) The first day in Maldives was very thrilling and enjoyable
The second day my husband went for snorkeling to see his underwater friends while I preferred to give both of them some privacy. He had a 3hr chat with them and came back to me seeing them off :) The third day we went to the Male city where we saw their market, some buildings which the cities usualy have and came back. That evening again we had the cultural show of the Male public. I between all these we had good time in the beach, the pool and also enjoyed the most of our life and felt like staying them foreve. But what to do we had to come back otherwise they would have thrown us out :) after having a very good time at Maldives we were all set to return back to our city - nama bengaluru on the 7th . But it was undoubtedly the most amazing trip we ever had. Our only wish is to hope to make such trip every year ! will come with my next experience :)

My first blog

I always used to wonder about blogging...Is that interesting and what does that fetch u..and so many questions...Now when I am alone , away from my family and friends I really think "Y don't I also blog"and just started it off....Let me see how this blogging interests me herafter !

This is my first blog in Finland, the scandinavian country almost close to the artic circle. I have always dreamt of visiting the European countries, so was pretty much excited when i heard from my manager that am going.."yes am going to Europe". The day I landed here all my dreams shattered on seeing the weather...I knew it would be cold but never imagined it to be freezing....And I always curse this weather for it makes my day moody and irritating...6 hrs of light and we wait like a kid saying"snow snow go away come again another year". To walk to the bus stop, wait for the bus in this cold used to frustrating.....but now when I sit back and think it really makes me admire the different creations of HIM who has made each and every place, thing so special and unique;so decided to enjoy the rest of the days am going to stay here rather than crib about the fact that am alone and all alone in this 'Winter in Finland'......
